Slick Industries was started in May of 2004 by Nick and Jessie Fain. They wanted to bring a unique and quality art form to their local area. With the use of a CO2 Laser etching machine, they have been able to produce wonderful pieces for use in all facets of the building industry. From Corporate Murals to Stencils.   • Choose an image; start sketching or writing down a concept.
  • Pick out your materials and size of the project.
  • Give us a call or email to start the design process.
  • SlickEtch will take your project and give you a complete and free estimate.
  • Approve estimate and work will begin.
  • That's it.

Working with us FAQ
Working with SlickEtch is easy and convenient. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and service. We won't rest till you are 100% satisfied with your project.

We make sure your project is completed your way by listening through our consultations and trying to understand your vision. Our creative staff will never push you into an idea. We treat every customer, big or small, with our complete interest and attention.


Estimates:
SlickEtch provides free estimates on all projects. All work including design, scheduling, delivery and materials will be specified in the estimate. All changes during approved project will be estimated and approved by the customer before changes are effective.

Materials:
SlickEtch will supply material when quoting projects. Customer can furnish their own material but must provide ample extra for testing, flaws and compatibility with methods. Customer acknowledges that Slick Etch makes no guarantees about materials, etching and quality of customer supplied materials.

Artwork and Images:
We accept original photos, artwork, high quality prints and digital files. Customer must provide that all files and images are cleared of copyright or are of the public domain. All files must be a minimum of 300 dpi and in .jpg, .eps, .ai, .tiff, .pdf, .dwg, .dxf, or .cdr format. Our creative staff will help ensure that all artwork is up to your specifications.

Production Times:
Usual production time is around 2-3 weeks on all custom orders. Slick Etch can provide rush service for a fee. Your quote will include rush service if requested.

Shipping:
SlickEtch ships by UPS or US Mail. For larger shipments (150 lbs. or greater) common carrier will be used. SlickEtch will deliver local orders. All shipments are FOB at SlickEtch in Virginia City, Nevada.

Installation or use of products:
Slick Etch does not install any items. Where applicable, customers should use a general or sub-contractor for installation or use professional methods when installing themselves. On stone surfaces, resealing to preserve quality is recommended. All products have handling and care instructions included.
